As a kid, I loved playing with LEGOs (I’ve heard the plural form of LEGO is just LEGO with no “s”, but I don’t care). I very rarely followed the instructions. Instead, I’d spend hours building things from my own imagination. My love of putting bits and pieces together to form a finished product set the foundation for what I do today in the A/V industry.
LEGO is still a thriving business, and their products are now teaching kids about robotics. The Mindstorms® products were released well after I had moved on to bigger hobbies, but the things people are doing with them these days are mind-boggling.
